Coral Vase White 50-tulips

Norman’s coral vase series was inspired by the baroque tulip vases with spouts also known as the Delft pyramid vases; introduced in the 17th century during the reign of William the third and Mary II. In that period of time, the tulip was an expensive and exclusive flower and only limitedly available.  That is why the tulip vase had to be a real show piece because even without flowers, it was a real symbol of status.

Thanks to the contemporary vision of modern designers, the tradition of the vase with spouts lives on in the exquisite form of the coral vase designed by Norman Trapman.www.normantrapman.nl
